Keep the human part of the job
AI is useful for drafting, transforming and finding patterns. It is not a substitute for your context, accountability or judgement. Keep sensitive information inside approved systems and check every fact that could affect a customer, colleague or decision.
Questions professionals ask before they start
Straight answers, so you can decide whether this route fits your work.
- Do I need to know how to code?
- No. This route focuses on briefing, drafting, checking and organising everyday work. Coding is useful for some technical paths, but it is not a prerequisite for using AI well in a professional role.
- What AI skills are useful across different jobs?
- The skills that travel best are writing a clear brief, supplying the right context, checking facts and designing a workflow with a human review point. They are more durable than memorising one tool's buttons.
- Can I paste confidential work into an AI tool?
- Only when your organisation has approved that tool and the data handling for the task. The safe default is to remove identifying details, use a fictional example or ask your security lead before sharing anything sensitive.
